Working with a landscape architect...so how does this process work anyway?

PHASE 1: SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Client meets with landscape architect to discuss nature and purpose of project. Landscape architect visits site to gather information on existing conditions. Designing of the master plan begins.

PHASE 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Design is revised base on discussions with client. The revised master plan is again reviewed with client. A model is occasionally developed to flesh out design ideas and allow the client to more fully understand the proposed design.

PHASE 3: CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
Details, such as grades, materials and plant choices are worked out through the development of working drawings called construction drawings.
