Within the high desert of northern Arizona, the Davis Residence fits harmoniously into the hillside covered in native vegetation. The design preserves all of the trees and a majority of the native plants surrounding the home, creates a welcoming and defined entry and provides abundant space for relaxing and entertaining. By drawing from the local vernacular of adobe and sandstone, the curvilinear deck, pool, and retaining walls flow seamlessly into the hillside.
