Scandinavian Festival Fairgrounds - Junction City, Oregon

The Scandinavian Festival Association Board commissioned Schlesinger & Associates to provide a master plan for the development of the existing Scandinavian Festival Fairgrounds and the additional city block they purchased for future expansion.

The goal of the master plan was to develop the site to provide the association with a new performance stage and seating arrangement, better facilities for the performing groups and an associated park area for the display of historic farm equipment.

In addition to program elements Schlesinger & Associates designed the site to be used for a variety of activities such as music performances, weddings, etc. that will generate additional income for the Festival Association.
